Account Deletion Policy for AtmaTV Mobile Application

About AtmaTV

AtmaTV is a devotional and spiritual video streaming mobile application. This page explains how users can request deletion of their account and data from the AtmaTV platform.

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please read this page carefully before proceeding.

Steps to Request Account Deletion from AtmaTV

Step 1: Send Deletion Request Email

Send an email to support@atma.tv with the subject line:

“Delete my Atma TV account”

Critical Requirement: You must send the email from the same Google account you used to log in to the AtmaTV app. This is how we verify your identity.

Step 2: Verification Process

Our team will verify that the email matches the Google account registered with the AtmaTV app.

Step 3: Account Deletion

Your account and related data will be permanently deleted within 7 working days of successful verification.

Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted

When you request deletion from AtmaTV, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your Google account email address stored in our AtmaTV database
  • Authentication tokens used for app access
  • Usage logs and activity data associated with your user ID
  • User preferences and settings within the AtmaTV app

Privacy Note: AtmaTV does not store passwords or payment information. All authentication is securely handled through Google Sign-In.

Data Retention Period

Most data is deleted immediately upon processing your request (within 7 working days).

Temporary Retention for Legal Compliance

For security, legal compliance, and system integrity purposes, AtmaTV may retain the following minimal records for a limited time:

  • Server access logs: Retained for up to 30 days after account deletion, then automatically purged
  • Security-related logs: May be retained for up to 30 days for fraud prevention and security purposes

Important: These retained logs are minimal, anonymized where possible, and automatically deleted after the retention period. They cannot be used to identify you or restore your account.

Data We Don't Store

AtmaTV does not collect or store:

  • Passwords (authentication is handled by Google)
  • Payment or financial information
  • Credit card or banking details
  • Sensitive personal information beyond your Google email address
